Debra Sirianni, Executive Vice President

Debra Sirianni is the Vice President for Cooperstown Baseball World and was their very first employee. Now in her 13th season at CBW, Debra is responsible each year for recruiting all of the teams who participate each summer and she also oversees all aspects of their New Jersey office and Oneonta camp while in session each summer.

Growing up in New Jersey, Debra became very active in local sports programs at a very early age. In 1993, Debra was named one of Bergenfield High School’s Scholar Athletes. While holding a 3.8 grade point average, and being an assistant athletic trainer, Debra was also a four-year letter winner in both basketball and softball. She was Captain of both Varsity teams and led her softball team to two consecutive League Championships. Debra was honored her senior year by being named to the All-County Bergen Basketball and Softball teams as well.

While attending Kean University in NJ, Debra graduated with a 3.9 GPA and received academic honors upon graduation. Debra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice.

Debra currently resides in NJ with her husband Mike and their sons Hunter and Chance.



Chris Locke – Tournament Director

Chris LockeChris Locke is a veteran of Cooperstown Baseball World, having worked here for 10 years.  Chris began his career at CBW as a grounds crew member for three years and then moved to the role of Team Coordinator and Assistant Field Manager for the past six years.  Chris now steps into the role of Tournament Director, following the retirement of our previous Director, Coach Ferchen.   Chris will also continue as a member of the CBW medical staff.

Growing up in Bainbridge, NY, Chris played Baseball, Football, and Wrestled.  He attended the State University of New York at Cortland where he received his B.S. in Childhood Education.  He also played on the Offensive line for the SUNY Cortland Football team, and was a member of the Wrestling squad.  Upon graduation in 2007 he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where he is a fifth grade teacher. 

Chris was recently married in June of 2011.  He enjoys working with children of all ages and watching them develop their skills through athletics, as it promotes positive team building skills along with self-confidence and a dedicated work ethic. 


Christopher Garcia, Assistant Director of Camp Operations

Christopher GarciaChristopher Garcia, in his 9th year at Cooperstown Baseball World, has worked his way up the Baseball World ranks to become the Director of Camp Operations.  Chris is responsible for setting up all aspects behind the scenes of the camp, such as food, lodging, and the gift shop.  He works closely with the Vice President and other Directors throughout the season to ensure a successful program. 

Over his career at CBW, Chris has worked various positions.  He was a Team Coordinator, which encompassed acting as a liaison between the CBW executive staff and the visiting coaches and players.  Chris also worked on the CBW grounds crew staff for several years.  Chris has been and remains an active member of the CBW medical staff as well.

Growing up in Oneonta, Chris played a variety of sports at a young age.  Chris played basketball at the collegiate level for Herkimer county community college and Tompkins Cortland Community College.  He recently graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland with a B.S. in Education.  He plans on becoming a Physical Education teacher.  Chris resides in Oneonta where he is finishing up his student teaching and substituting at various local schools around the area. 

Tom Rose: Assistant Director of Baseball Operations

Tom RoseTom is entering his 5th year as part of the CBW staff and is now the Director of Baseball Operations.  While in season, Tom oversees all aspects of the day to day game and rule procedures.  He assists the Executive staff and Camp Director with scheduling games and setting the tournament brackets.  Tom was also a Team Coordinator and a groundskeeper for several years, prior to taking this position.  He continues to be a part of the CBW medical staff as well.

A 2001 graduate of Sidney Central School (Sidney, NY), he lettered in Varsity Golf and Varsity Baseball.  He attended and graduated college from The University of Charleston (Charleston, WV) in 2005 with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in Mass Communications .  While at UC, Tom played four years for their Division II baseball team as a pitcher.  Tom was a team captain during his Junior and Senior years due to his leadership abilities.

He attended graduate school at Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) to obtain his teaching certification and Masters Degree in Physical Education.  He graduated from this program in 2009 with a 3.8 GPA.

Tom currently resides in Sidney, NY and is in his fourth year as a Physical Education, Health, and Strength & Conditioning teacher in the Downsville Central School District (Downsville, NY).  He is the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for the school and also helps out with various other teams in the sports program.
