Cooperstown Baseball World is pleased to announce an agreement with Disney Sports Attractions at Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Florida!

Starting in 2005, the 1st and 2nd Place winners from the tournaments outlined below will receive an automatic berth in a national tournament to be held at the other’s facility. Both Cooperstown Baseball World and Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex have limited space available each season to accommodate the many applications that are received from teams throughout the country as well as from outside the United States. This opportunity will secure your spot in what may be an already sold out tournament at either baseball facility.

Cooperstown Baseball World will:

» Offer winners (top two teams) in the 12U, 13U, 14U and 15U age divisions each week an exclusive opportunity to compete in Disney’s New Year’s Baseball Classic (December 27-January 1) in the same year.

» Registration form and tournament entrance fees must be paid by the qualified teams no later than September 1 to guarantee a berth in Disney’s New Year’s Baseball Classic.

Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex will:

» Offer winners (top two teams) in the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 16U age divisions from Disney’s Turn Back the Clock Weekend and Disney’s Sunshine Showdown tournaments an exclusive opportunity to compete in a Cooperstown Baseball World tournament the following summer at the Cooperstown Baseball World complex.

» Registration form and tournament entrance fees must be paid no later than January 1 to guarantee a berth in the Cooperstown Baseball World tournament.

Disney’s Wide World of Sports® Complex

Spread over 220 acres in the heart of the WALT DISNEY WORLD ® Resort, Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex plays host to more than 170 events each year for professional and amateur athletes in some 30 sports.

The state-of-the-art facility includes nine venues and is home to more than 40 Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) National Championships, Atlanta Braves Spring Training, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Training Camp, the Sports Experience interactive area and the Official All Star Cafe® sports-themed restaurant.

Cooperstown Baseball World and Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex are two of the premier baseball destinations in the world. Tournaments at both locations sell-out fast and many teams are turned away each year. Through this agreement, you will have the unprecedented opportunity to participate in an event at both venues.
