First I want to take a moment to welcome you all to Cooperstown Baseball World and introduce myself. My name is Debra Sirianni and I am the Vice President of Cooperstown Baseball World. I have personally been running the CBW tournaments for all 12 years and will be your main contact person throughout the year. I will be working closely with all of you over the next few months to prepare you for your trip to CBW in the summer of 2012. If at any time you have a question that you need answered or just need some guidance as to what comes next, please don't hesitate to ask me. Many of you have been here before and know the drill and for those of you who will be attending for the first time, I am sure you have many questions and I can guarantee you that your parents will ask you more than you can imagine. It's my job to make sure you all know what is expected before you arrive, so when you are in doubt, just ask!

Once your team has been slotted for a specific week at CBW, you will receive a written confirmation packet. In this packet you will receive a letter stating which week you were selected to play in, as well as a letter agreement regarding the CBW refund policy. I must receive this form back from you, within two weeks, signed as an acceptance on your end into the tournament.

This is the time you all get to lay back and relax for a while before we really get started. We will send you all an email reminder the week before your payments are due and payments can be made by check or by credit card. If you want us to use the same credit card we have on file, you must email or call us with the authorization to do so.

Come the middle of March, you will all receive a Coach's Packet. This packet will be quite big. It contains all of the documents that need to be submitted for your team before they are allowed to play at CBW this year (e.g. roster, birth certificate requests, medical forms, etc). I send them out early because it has a lot of information in it and can not be done overnight. I strongly suggest you elect a team mom or dad to assist you with paperwork if you know you are usually busy yourselves with work!

From the time you get this packet things will start to move rather quickly and you will feel the pressure of your tournaments sneaking up on you. Once again, I am here to assist you so please don't hesitate to call or email with any problems you may be having.
